Just last week, Deebo Samuel told ESPN's Jeff Darlington that he wanted to be traded by the San Francisco 49ers.

Since then, rumors about a potential Samuel trade had grown, but no true destination has revealed itself yet. The New York Jets were named the "frontrunner" but the latest rumor suggests otherwise.

According to a report from NFL insider Josina Anderson, Samuel might not be traded at all. "Deebo Samuel isn't getting traded," one NFL source told Anderson today.

She went on to say things could change, but as of right now, it seems like he won't be moved.

Earlier this afternoon, Samuel had a message for fans on Twitter.

"To real to entertain half the stuff y’all be saying but it do be funny though… everybody want they voice to be heard about a situation they know nothing about and just be saying whatever the next person say... Have a blessed day," Samuel wrote, adding a peace-sign emoji.

Will the 49ers actually trade Samuel?
