The San Francisco 49ers look to keep their unbeaten run alive tonight as they take on their NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks.
San Francisco is the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team at 8-0 on the season. The offense has been humming under quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, while the defense has been lights out. Rookie pass rusher Nick Bosa has emerged as a frontrunner for defensive rookie of the year, posting seven sacks in eight games.
Seattle is led as always by Russell Wilson, who is making a very compelling case to win NFL MVP this year. He leads the NFL in touchdowns, passer rating and touchdown percentage. The Seahawks have thrived in close games, with all but two of their games being decided by one score.
ESPN’s computer model has released its prediction for the 49ers-Seahawks game.
ESPN’s computer model believes that San Francisco has this game well in hand. The computer model gives the 49ers a 75.2 percent chance to win tonight’s game.
Tonight’s outcome will likely determine who takes the lead in the NFC West title race. They’ll play their second game against each other in Week 17, possibly with the division title on the line.
The game will be played at 8:15 p.m. EST on ESPN.
