Deebo Samuel runs down the field while carrying the football.

You can officially ignore the tweet going around showing an alleged text exchange between 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel to Seahawks safety Jamal Adams.

The image circulating shows what claims to be Adams reaching out to Samuel saying he understands his current situation. Adams forced his way out of New York via trade, and Samuel has reportedly told the Niners he wants to be dealt as well.

In the screenshot, Samuel tells Adams that he appreciates his advice but that their situations are not exactly alike because "I carried us [San Francisco] to the playoffs."

That sounds like shots being fired, but Samuel says the picture is photoshopped.

"Lol false don't even got dude number or nothing," the real Deebo wrote on Twitter tonight.

To be fair, these messages seemed too good to be true, even considering how insanely dramatic this entire offseason has been.

Deebo and Adams may have been enemies on the field twice a year in the NFC West the last couple of seasons, but there's no real animosity between the two, it seems.
