Former ESPN Writer John Clayton Finds New Gig As Seattle Seahawks' Sideline Reporter

John Clayton predicting NFL trades on ESPN.

Longtime ESPN writer John Clayton is no longer a free agent.

Clayton, who was let go by ESPN in its round of layoffs in the spring, will be handling sideline reporting duties for the Seattle Seahawks radio broadcasts this fall.

Clayton will share the role with Jen Mueller on 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio 97. 3 FM.

The Seahawks announced the news on Tuesday.

Good for "The Professor" finding a new gig.

Clayton is a fixture around the NFL, so we figure he'll make this transition smoothly.
