The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the teams in contact with Colin Kaepernick at times, but not lately.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll spoke about the topic at the NFL meetings and said that there's been no new contact with the free-agent quarterback.

Kaepernick has been working out a lot these last few weeks as he feels like he's ready to play again. It would also make sense for him to go to Seattle since the team needs quarterback help for 2022.

He could compete with Drew Lock for the starter's job after Lock was acquired in the Russell Wilson trade.

He hasn't played in the NFL since 2016 when he was with the San Francisco 49ers. During his time in San Francisco, he had 12,271 passing yards, 72 touchdown passes, and 30 interceptions.

It still may be a long shot that Kaepernick plays in the NFL again, but that won't stop him from putting in the work.
