Seahawks vs. Saints preview:

The Saints lost 27-21 to the Chiefs last Sunday and proved that they still refuse to play any defense at all. They allowed Alex Smith to throw for 214 yards and two touchdowns on 17-of-24 passing. On the other side of the ball, Drew Brees was a one man show, with a sublime 359 yards and three touchdowns on 37-of-48 passing. Will he and Russell Wilson have a shootout this Sunday?

The Seahawks tied the Cardinals 6-6 Sunday night in a defensive struggle where the Seattle defense was on the field for 46 minutes. That's quite a long time, and now they have to travel to New Orleans and face an explosive offense led by Drew Brees? Yikes. Russell Wilson and the offense better be ready to keep up.

Seahawks vs. Saints prediction:

I'm doing it. I'm taking the 2-4 Saints at home in this one. The Seahawks are coming all the way from the west coast for a 1 p.m. E.T. game, and they're 9-8 in those since 2012. The jet lag, combined with Drew Brees in the Superdome, leads me to believe he'll throw for 400 yards and three touchdowns and take advantage of the sleepy Seahawks secondary. Seattle is due for a loss after last week's 6-6 abomination versus the Cardinals.
