A lot of things went wrong for the Houston Texans in their Wildcard Weekend loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Among them was a rough outing from starting quarterback Deshaun Watson.
On Sunday’s edition of Good Morning Football, NFL analyst Steve Smith Sr. criticized Watson for repeatedly celebrating for converting a first down on a rushing play.
Smith pointed out that Watson was not getting back to the huddle quickly despite being down 21-0 when doing those celebrations.
“Put the ball down, get your a** back in the huddle, and get your guys down the field,” Smith Sr. said.

Watson had one of his more underwhelming performances of the season in the 21-7 loss.
He went 29-for-49 with 235 passing yards, a touchdown, an interception, and 76 rushing yards. Watson was also sacked three times.
The 59.18-percent completion rate and 69.7 passer rating that Watson had were both among the bottom-three that he’s had all season.
The Texans couldn’t score a touchdown until the fourth quarter.
