NFL insider Mike Florio took the NFL world by storm when he suggested he might walk away from the sport if Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is allowed back on the football field.
Florio, of Pro Football Talk, took to Twitter with a short statement about Hill's future in the league.
If Hill is allowed back on the field, Florio said he's "not sure" if he can keep covering the league.
"One of the best players in the league is implicated in a pattern of abusive activities toward a three-year-old boy. My heart is broken at the thought of what that child has endured. If Tyreek Hill is allowed to play again, I'm not sure I can keep covering this league," Florio wrote.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Hill would not face charges of battery or child abuse in the case of his three-year-old son.
Just before the NFL draft kicked off on Thursday night, an audio recording of Hill and his fiancee, Crystal Espinal, leaked revealing their conversation on the events that led to their three-year-old son suffering a broken arm.
Late Thursday night, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach announced Hill has been suspended from team activities.
