NFL Has Released List Of Juniors Entering This Year's Draft

Some of the top players in college football are leaving early for the NFL Draft.

January 16 was the deadline for players to apply for early draft eligibility. On Friday, the NFL released the names of the players who are heading to the draft.

106 players have applied for early entry. This is a new NFL Draft record.

This number breaks the previous record of 98 by a decent amount. That came in the 2014 class.

LSU has the most players on the list with seven. Florida State and Texas each have six players on the list.

National champion Alabama has five players heading in early. Runner-up Georgia only loses two guys to early entrance.

There are three designation that the NFL released. Aside from players granted early eligibility regularly, 13 are eligible for fulfilling degree requirements, and four thought they needed special eligibility, but were actually regularly eligible.
