Nike is standing by Colin Kaepernick.

While the former NFL quarterback hasn't played in the league since 2016, he continues to have a major endorsement deal with the athletic brand.

This week, Nike released a new line of clothing in honor of the former NFL quarterback.

"Colin Kaepernick’s belief in our collective strength fuels his dedication to helping to create a fairer future. In his new capsule collection designed by the artist @joyyamusangie, each unique symbol is designed to tell his story of impact, to share his sources of strength, and to inspire you as well. How do fans feel about the move?

"Guy wasnt even a great player, how is he relevant in 2023?" one fan wondered.

"Why do y’all still give him a platform 💀💀," one fan added.

"You're bigger than the NFL now..just enjoy that and move on with life Bro!" one fan added.

"Such a dope collection 🔥🔥" one fan added.

Kaepernick remains excited by it all, at least.

“I wake up in the morning, and I have a deep conviction and belief in us— and what we can do, and that’s what motivates me to get up and do my part in bringing this to life.”
