On Thursday night, the Green Bay Packers took on the Seattle Seahawks in a battle of NFC foes. The end result was a 27-24 win for Seattle, but that wasn't the only bad news the Packers received Thursday night.
Star tight end Jimmy Graham left the game in the first half after appearing to injury his hand while blocking. Sideline reports from the game suggested Graham suffered an injury to his thumb, though the reports were speculative at the time.
After having the night to diagnose the injury, the Packers reportedly fear Graham broke his thumb. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Graham will have the injury examined today.
Losing Graham could be the final nail in the coffin for the Packers this season. After losing to Seattle on Thursday night, Green Bay sits at 4-5-1 on the year and is in danger of missing the playoffs yet again.
