A few interesting notes:

Trubisky, while being the first quarterback taken (somewhat shockingly second overall by the Bears, who traded up one spot with the 49ers to acquire him), is third at the position in Rookie of the Year odds. While three quarterbacks were taken in the first round, there's no guarantee that any starts, which bucks a trend for guys taken early in the first round. Trubisky has Mike Glennon, who signed a lucrative deal in the off-season, ahead of him, while Patrick Mahomes is being groomed to take over for Alex Smith at some point. Watson is the most likely to start, but Bill O'Brien says that Tom Savage is currently that franchise's starter. DeShone Kizer, a second rounder, is also ahead of Trubisky, though it is unclear what his immediate role will be in Cleveland.

Oddsmakers are pretty bullish with the versatile offensive weapons added by the Panthers. Christian McCaffrey was a flashy first-round pick to complement Cam Newton, but second-rounder Curtis Samuel can occupy a similar hybrid role, and snuck into the back-end of these odds as well.
