NFL Prospect Who Failed Drug Test Explains What Happened

The 2018 NFL draft is just over 24 hours away, and there have already been significant story lines ahead of the Round 1 picks. One top prospect has a problem on his hands as we draw near to the draft. Former Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway reportedly provided a diluted sample at the NFL Combine.

According to Adam Schefter, Callaway tested positive for marijuana. However, yesterday, Callaway reportedly told those close to him that he was over-hydrated, according to Ian Rapoport.

Now, he's changed his tune.

According to a conversation with Rapoport, Callaway admitted to smoking marijuana weeks before the draft.

Entering the 2017 season Callaway was seen as a top wide receiver eligible for the upcoming draft. In two seasons with Florida he racked up 1,399 receiving yards on 89 catches, seven of which went for touchdowns.
