The 2023 NFL offseason has been highlighted by massive new contracts for some of the league's best quarterbacks.

The first domino to fall was for Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, who received a five-year, $255 million deal. After that, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson got $260 million a few days later to end his long contract saga.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is likely next in line, with many believing his deal will reset the market, introducing a never-before-seen figure for a quarterback contract.

Despite the contracts given to his contemporaries, one quarterback says he isn't concerned with how much he's making as long as his team is winning.

Mahomes - who signed a 10-year deal worth up to $503 million in 2020 - says he isn't worried about his contract or how it compares to other quarterbacks.

“I worry about (my) legacy & winning rings than making money at this point," he said.

The NFL world is reacting to Mahomes' comments.

"I just keep loving this guy more," one fan said. "So lucky to have him in KC."

"This is a man that knows what it takes to be a legend," another fan said. "Play the long game."

"Unreal that this guy ended up in Kansas City, we are so blessed," one fan said.

With two Super Bowl titles so far, it's clear that Mahomes' approach has worked.
