The Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with a rash of injuries to their wide receiver corps. Alshon Jeffery remains sidelined with a shoulder injury and the team lost Mike Wallace to a leg injury in Week 2.

Philadelphia addressed its need at wide receiver with a former Eagles wideout. Jordan Matthews, released by New England before the season, is back in Philadelphia.

Matthews spent the 2017 season with the Buffalo Bills after getting traded by the Eagles for Ronald Darby. His time in Buffalo didn't last long, but he got one good thing out of the city: a kid.

Matthews spoke with the media on Wednesday and revealed there's nothing to do in Buffalo - so he just procreated instead.

Matthews can't say his time in Buffalo didn't bring him something. He may have struggled with injuries throughout the season, but he left with much more than he entered with.

The former Vanderbilt star is back where it all began with an Eagles team that drafted him in the second round in 2014.
