New details emerged surrounding Aaron Hernandez's death.

It's been just over two weeks since Aaron Hernandez hung himself in his prison cell. In that time, several reports have been released concerning Hernandez's estate, how he died, and his sexual orientation.

His death provided more questions than answers, and lit the internet ablaze with rumors. Well, we may finally have some closure surrounding Hernandez's death, and what was found inside his prison cell.

TMZ claims to have received an official police report from the Massachusetts Department of Corrections. In the initial reports about his death, it was stated that Hernandez has "John 3:16" written on his forehead. The police report states that was the case, and the scripture was also written on his cell wall.

From the report:

The door had been jammed with cardboard -- apparently to prevent people from entering the cell to save him.

When officials broke through, the floor was covered in shampoo to make it slippery -- apparently to prevent Hernandez from gaining his footing in case he wanted to stop himself from hanging.

He had also covered the window to his cell with a sheet which is what alerted officers in the first place.

The report says Hernandez had a fresh cut on his right middle finger and there appeared to be large circular blood marks on each of his feet.

The report also confirms the presence of 3 handwritten notes in the cell -- though the contents of the notes have been redacted.
