Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Officially Taken Off IR

Aaron Rodgers has been activated from injured reserve.

Aaro Rodgers is back.

The Green Bay Packers announced today that two-time MVP Aaron Rodgers has been activated from the IR and will be available to play this Sunday versus the Carolina Panthers.

Rodgers broke his collarbone in week six, and while it was unclear if he'd be able to return in time—or if his return would even be worth it—Rodgers has given every indication he intends to take the field.

It's terrifying news for for just about everyone not involved with the Packers.

The Packers are 7-6 and currently sit at ninth in the NFC. They'll need to win out to have any shot at making the playoffs, but if there's one person who could singlehandedly make that a reality, it's Aaron Rodgers.
