Packers vs. Lions preview:
Four games into the season and it looked like the Detroit Lions were in deep trouble of missing out on a playoff spot. Then the Lions won 8-of-9 games to find themselves at 9-4 and in great position to win the NFC North and secure a playoff berth. Two games later and Detroit is fighting for its playoff life after dropping its last two to the Giants and Cowboys.
The Packers are the team no one in the NFL wants to play right now. Yeah, they don't have a "true" running back, and yeah virtually the entire team is on IR, but they have a trump card: Aaron Rodgers. And as long as they have Rodgers, they will continue to scare the daylights out of every team in the league. They're coming for that NFC North title, and a win over Detroit accomplishes that feat.
Packers vs. Lions prediction:
Who would have thought the NFC North title would come down to the final game of the season between these two teams? Both have a shot to make the playoffs, but it would take a lot for both teams to make it in.
Aaron Rodgers and company are playing at another level, and they will continue to do so in this one.
