Panthers vs. Rams preview:
The Panthers are coming off their best win of the season with a 30-20 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Actually, its only Carolina's second win on the season, the first coming in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers. Other than those two wins, the Panthers have looked awful all year, with losses to Denver, Minnesota, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, and New Orleans. Carolina needs to string together a series of wins if it wants to make the playoffs this year.
The Rams were 3-1 through the first four games of the season, but have lost three straight to the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, and New York Giants. It looked like a magical season was in store for the Rams through four games. Back in LA, and back in a playoff hunt. But now the Rams are in trouble missing the playoffs in a terrible division.
Panthers vs. Rams prediction:
The Panthers have a terrible passing defense. Maybe their decision to let Josh Norman go wasn't such a great idea after all. Carolina is allowing over 300 yards per game through the air, but are limiting teams to just 80 yards on the ground.
Los Angeles is not a very good team, and even though the Panthers are struggling, Carolina should be able to bully its way to a win.
