Patrick Mahomes took to Twitter after today's Pro Bowl to issue a message to the critics of the 2017 NFL Draft quarterback class.

Mahomes was one of three quarterbacks taken in the first round of the NFL Draft, along with Deshaun Watson (No. 12 to the Houston Texans) and Mitchell Trubisky (No. 2 to the Chicago Bears).

NFL.com wrote that the class "lacked elite talent" and "there has been plenty of negative publicity about this season's quarterback class, but it's deeper than the 2015 class that produced Winston and Mariota."

All three first-round quarterbacks played in the Pro Bowl today.

While that's not a direct counterpunch to the criticism of the draft class, the crop has certainly been better than expected (especially Mahomes).

Mahomes took to Twitter after today's Pro Bowl to talk about it.

"They said we had a bad Qb draft class! 2 years later..." he tweeted.

Mahomes was named the MVP of today's Pro Bowl, leading his AFC team to a dominant victory over the NFC. Watson had an impressive performance, too, throwing for 128 yards and one touchdown. Trubisky struggled a little bit, completing 5 of 9 passes for 34 yards and one interception.
