The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams are just over an hour away from kickoff of Super Bowl LIII from the Atlanta Falcons home in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Leading up to the game, the Rams emerged as an early favorite in Vegas – that changed swiftly once bettors saw the Rams were 1-point favorites. Just hours before kickoff, the Patriots are 2.5-point favorites and will likely hold a significant crowd advantage as well.
While Bill Belichick usually preaches to his team that they should respect their opponent, one player let some trash talk slip.
According to Mike Giardi, one New England Patriots player said Rams quarterback Jared Goff will “sh*t his pants” when the defense shows him new defensive fronts during the game.

It’s a bold strategy to call out your opponent before you take the field and even more shocking coming from the Patriots, who usually have the utmost respect for their opponent before they take the field.
Fans watching at home will get to see whether or not this anonymous Patriots player is correct in his assumption.
New England and Los Angeles kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on CBS with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the call.
