A New England Patriots fan has apparently paid an insane amount of money for tickets to the Super Bowl in Atlanta.

The Patriots are off to the Super Bowl following their epic AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tom Brady led the Patriots on a game-winning drive in overtime after the Chiefs' sent the game to the extra session with a last-second field goal.

New England is set to take on the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl. It'll be the NFL's most-dominant franchise of the 21st century against the franchise many are projecting to dominate the league moving forward.

One Patriots fan is very, very excited.

Action Network's Darren Rovell revealed one Patriots fan has already paid a crazy price for eight tickets.

"JUST IN: A Patriots fan just paid 180,685.44 on StubHub, including fees, for 8 seats on the 50-yard line for Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta."

That's a lot of money - hopefully the game can live up to the hype.

The New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams are set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, February 3. The game will be televised on CBS. The Patriots are being listed as a 1-point favorite.

Correction: An earlier version of this post said the Patriots fan paid for four tickets; he's paying for eight tickets.
