Patriots vs. Browns preview:

The Patriots enter the game 3-1 after an awful 16-0 home loss to the Buffalo Bills. It was the first time they've been shut out at home since 1993. This would normally be cause for alarm, but the Patriots are getting back Tom Brady this week, so all is well in New England. After ranking No. 28 in passing offense through the first four weeks of the season, Brady will certainly inject new life into the Patriots aerial attack.

The Browns come into this matchup as the only winless team in the NFL, after losing to the Redskins last week. The one bright spot on this Cleveland squad is RB Isaiah Crowell. He's averaging 6.5 ypc and rushed for 112 yards and a TD in the 31-20 loss to the Redskins. If there's any hope for Cleveland to win this game, it all rests on the shoulders of Crowell.

The Browns, miraculously enough, lead the series between the two teams with 13 wins compared to the Patriots' 10. However, the Browns have lost five of the last six contests, their most recent win coming in 2013.

Patriots vs. Browns prediction:

You really have to pity the Browns, who of course are slated to play an angry Tom Brady the week his suspension is lifted. It's a sick cosmic joke, really. The Patriots win this one with ease, and Gronkowski gets his first touchdown of the year.
