The New England Patriots and their top wide receiver, Julian Edelman, have reportedly agreed on a new contract.

Edelman, 32, has spent his entire NFL career with the Patriots and that doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon.

The three-time Super Bowl champion could be spending the remainder of his career with the Patriots.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Patriots and Edelman have agreed to a two-year contract extension.

"The Patriots are giving WR Julian Edelman a two-year extension, source said, potentially taking him to the end of his career and allowing him to retire in New England. A well-deserved raise, too," he reports.

Edelman is one of the best postseason wide receivers of all-time and has been a consistently solid option for star quarterback Tom Brady. Clearly, the wide receiver doesn't want to be anywhere else.

Edelman and the Patriots are coming off a Super Bowl win over the Los Angeles Rams. New England is expected to contend for another championship in 2019.
