The Philadelphia Voice dropped this morning a "bombshell" report on Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Carson Wentz.

The report alleges that Wentz, who has been named the Eagles' starting quarterback for 2019, has been "selfish," "uncompromising" and "playing favorites" during his time with the Philadelphia franchise.

Wentz reportedly didn't want to run the Eagles' "complicated" offense, too.

Over the past two months, PhillyVoice spoke with more than a half dozen players, plus other sources close to the team, who all requested to remain anonymous — fearing repercussions given Wentz' power within the organization. And what they told us paints a somewhat different picture of the Eagles' locker room – and their franchise quarterback – than one might expect.

The report also alleges that while Wentz and Nick Foles get along very well, only one of the quarterbacks is well-liked by everyone in the locker room.

One thing is certain: Every one of our sources said the same things almost verbatim about the relationship between Wentz and Nick Foles: “They love each other, they respect each other and they support each other.”

But while the sentiment in the Eagles’ locker room is that Foles is “universally loved,” Wentz isn’t.

Eagles players have taken to Twitter in response to the report. Star defensive lineman Fletcher Cox isn't buying it.

"Reading through this Carson Wentz thing and as a leader on this team none of that is true Carson is a great teammate and great player we are all behind him 100% he’s our guy and will come back and prove the world wrong. If you got a problem feel free to @ me I’ll respond," he tweeted.
