The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals today to finish out the regular season. Pittsburgh needed some help to get into the playoffs though, in the form of the Cleveland Browns.
The Steelers needed their division rival to take out another hated foe, the Baltimore Ravens. If the Ravens lost and the Steelers won, the Black and Gold would be in the playoffs.
Pittsburgh players and fans certainly knew what was at stake. After their game ended, they watched the Ravens-Browns on the stadium Jumbotron.

Unfortunately, the Steelers didn't get the outcome they needed. A late rally by the Browns fell short, and Baltimore won the game and the division.
For the first time since 2013, the Steelers won't be in the playoffs. It should lead to an interesting offseason in Pittsburgh, as the organization potentially ponders the future of head coach Mike Tomlin.
