You might think that the Patriots' fan base wouldn't get as excited for their Super Bowl appearances after making it to the NFL's big game almost every year for two decades straight.

You would be wrong in thinking that, of course.

The New England Patriots are holding their Super Bowl sendoff rally this morning. The crowd is impressive.

"Huge crowd already for the Patriots’ Super Bowl sendoff rally. If you’re one of the few not here, you can watch, streaming at at 10am, on @WBZ at 10:30am," Michael Hurley tweeted.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport is impressed.

"This is just crazy."

Here's an overall look, from the Patriots:

The Patriots are set to play the Rams on Sunday, February 3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kickoff for that game is set for 6:30 p.m. E.T. It'll be televised on CBS.

The Patriots are a 2.5-point favorite in the contest. The Rams started as a 1-point favorite but the betting line has quickly shifted into New England's favor.
