President Donald Trump has weighed in on the New England Patriots' epic AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

The Patriots topped the Chiefs in overtime, 37-31, to move on to the Super Bowl, where they will face the Los Angeles Rams.

Trump, who's friendly with the Patriots' owner, Robert Kraft, their head coach, Bill Belichick, and their star quarterback, Tom Brady, tweeted a message for New England.

"Congratulations to Bob Kraft, Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and the entire New England Patriots team on a great game and season. Will be a fantastic Super Bowl!" he tweeted.

The Patriots are set to face the Rams in the Super Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia in two weeks.

Los Angeles opened as a 1-point favorite over New England, but the betting line quickly changed in the Patriots' favor.

Brady's team is now being listed as a 1.5-point favorite heading into the Super Bowl matchup against the Rams. The star quarterback will be looking to win his sixth NFL championship.

New England and Los Angeles are set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, February 3. The game will be televised on CBS.
