The New York Jets are 3-3 after what can only be described as an unexpected start to the season. The Jets had Super Bowl aspirations for all of a few plays, as Aaron Rodgers went down with an Achilles injury in the first offensive series of the regular season.

Despite Rodgers' injury, the Jets have rallied around young quarterback Zach Wilson and have emerged with a .500 record.

Most fans would be happy with that mark after considering the circumstances, and after the team's upset win over the Eagles two weeks ago, Jets fans have a lot to be happy about.

That wasn't the case for one radio host who took Wilson to task for going on a vacation during the Jets' bye week.

Shaun Morash of WFAN called Wilson a "disgrace" for spending the bye week in Utah with his girlfriend.

When Tiki Barber mentioned that Wilson went to Utah to meet his girlfriend's family, Morash didn't buy it as a legitimate excuse.

"He's a professional athlete," Morash said. "The family can fly to New York and New Jersey."

Morash was also concerned that Wilson would follow his form from last season, when he played poorly after the team's bye week.

"52 guys could have gone and visited families," Morash said. "The quarterback - the leader - needs to be at that or around that facility all week last week."

We'll see if Wilson reverts back to some of his old ways this week when the Jets face their fellow MetLife Stadium tenants in the Giants.
