Raiders vs. Jags preview:

The Raiders are coming off of their second loss on the season at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. Oakland opened the season with a one-point win over the New Orleans Saints, and followed that up with a loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The Raiders then rattled off three straight wins before falling to the Chiefs at home.

The Jaguars started the season with three straight losses to the Green Bay Packers, San Diego Chargers, and the Baltimore Ravens. Jacksonville found a few answers after those three losses and responded by winning two straight against the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears.

The Raiders vs. Jags have played seven times in history, with the Jaguars owning a 4-3 advantage.

Raiders vs. Jags prediction:

This is a battle of two young teams, led by young quarterbacks who are among the best in the league when at the top of their game. Oakland boasts the NFL's worst pass defense, which is good news for Jags quarterback Blake Bortles and receiver Allen Robinson.

This should be an offensive shootout, with very little defense being played. The Raiders will do just enough to the win in Jacksonville, although it won't be easy.
