Rams vs. Jets preview:
The Rams started out the season 3-1, but questions about how good they were abounded. Those questions were answered by Los Angeles' four game losing streak to put the Rams at 3-5 on the season. Although technically not out of the NFC West race, the Rams will needs to find immediate success and have the Seahawks drop a few games to stand a chance.
The Jets are...not good. And neither is quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Yet, the Jets are still favored to take down an equally bad Los Angeles Rams squad. Fitzmagic suffered a sprained MCL in the Jets loss to the Miami Dolphins last weekend, but signs are pointing to him starting this week against the Rams.
The Rams and Jets have played each other 13 times, with the Rams holding a 9-4 advantage in the regular season.
Rams vs. Jets prediction:
Which bad team is going to have the less bad day?
The Jets field the top run-defense in the NFL, which will need to be stout against LA's Todd Gurley. Can Ryan Fitzpatrick find his 2015 form? Against a suspect Rams secondary, it seems like this is a good opportunity for Fitzpatrick.
Matt Forte and Brandon Marshall give the Jets a slight edge, and will both come up with huge games.
