Rams vs. Lions preview:

The Rams drafted Jared Goff No. 1 overall in last year's NFL Draft, but he has not played thus far this season. What's more confusing is than Goff not playing this year is the Ram's record. Los Angeles is 3-2, with wins over the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. The Ram's losses have come against San Francisco and the Buffalo Bills. There is no team more confusing in the NFL than the L.A. Rams.

Detroit is less confusing. The Lions sit at 2-3 on the season and are coming off of their best win on the season, a 24-23 win over the previously undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. Marvin Jones has been a revelation this season for the Lions. Jones leads the NFL in receiving yards and his relationship with quarterback Matthew Stafford is blossoming.

Rams and Lions have played 84 times in history, with the Rams holding a 43-39-1 advantage in the regular season, but the Lions hold a 1-0 lead in the playoffs.

Rams vs. Lions prediction:

The Rams are easily the worst 3-2 team in the league this year. Their defense is nowhere near its run-stuffing capabilities from last season and they are giving up over 375 yards per game.

Matthew Stafford and Marvin Jones should take advantage of a favorable matchup and the Lions will put up a plethora of points against the Rams.
