Redskins vs. Bears preview:
The Redskins got publicly shamed on Monday night by the Panthers, and have lost three of their last four. For a large bulk of the season, the Skins had a wildcard spot locked up. Well, not anymore. They'll need to win out and receive some help if they want to make it. Kirk Cousins could have a field day on this Bears secondary, and he'll look to rebound after last week's poor showing.
The Bears haven't been playing for much other than their own pride for a better half of the season. They have a young stud in Jordan Howard, and Matt Barkley has shown promise. There are no moral victories in sports, but there's something to be said for a team that has dealt with a boatload of injuries and continues to play hard week in and week out, despite the season being a wash. For the last five weeks they've looked decent, but haven't done enough to win. They even took the red-hot Packers to the brink last week. Not bad for a 3-11 squad.
Redskins vs. Bears prediction:
This is a gut pick, but I like the Bears in this one. They're bad, there's no question, but Jordan Howard is a beast and I think he gets it going against a porous run defense at home.
