The referees for this evening's New Orleans Saints-Los Angeles Rams game are getting destroyed for missing a huge call at the end of the fourth quarter.

The officials appeared to miss a blatant pass interference penalty on the Rams' defense on a crucial third-down attempt by the Saints.

The missed call forced the Saints to settle for a field goal, which New Orleans made. Los Angeles then got the ball back, down by three points.

We're not sure how this wasn't called.

No one else is, either.

New Orleans' head coach, Sean Payton, has been crushing the officiating crew since that play happened. He still wasn't over it once the Rams got the ball back, arguing his position on the sideline.

The winner of this afternoon's Rams-Saints game will advance to the Super Bowl, where either the New England Patriots or the Kansas City Chiefs will await.

Stay tuned.
