Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was reportedly involved in a single vehicle car accident early Thursday morning.
According to a report from TMZ, medical personnel took Pierre-Paul to the hospital after the accident, but he was later released.
The report states Pierre-Paul is not accused of any wrongdoing and he was not believed to be speeding when the accident occurred.

JPP crashed his SUV around 5 AM in Broward County … and emergency personnel rushed to the scene to take him to the hospital.
The 30-year-old is not accused of any wrongdoing and he was NOT speeding — we’re told it was merely an accident.
Sources close to the Super Bowl champ tell us he was released from the hospital and is doing fine.
It’s good to hear he was well enough to leave the hospital. Tampa Bay has yet to comment on the incident.
Pierre-Paul signed a 4 year, $62,000,000 contract with the New York Giants in 2017.
New York traded the star pass rusher to Tampa Bay for a third-round pick.
In his first season with the Buccaneers, Pierre-Paul racked up 46 tackles, 12.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
His 12.5 sacks were his most since the 2014 season with the Giants.
