The Jets made a shocking decision regarding Eric Decker.
New York's 2017 season is in a full nosedive mode. After releasing veteran linebacker David Harris earlier Tuesday, Adam Schefter is reporting that the Jets are planning to either trade or release wide receiver Eric Decker.
Schefter first reported the news, stating Decker will be dealt by Wednesday.
It looks like the Jets are ready to implode this season and gear up for the 2018 NFL Draft, hopefully with a high draft pick. Plenty of high-quality quarterbacks are available, with USC's Sam Darnold and Wyoming's Josh Allen leading the charge.
After being injured for much of the 2016 season, Decker ended the year with nine catches for 194 yards and two touchdowns. In his seven seasons in the league, Decker has racked up over 5,000 receiving yards on 385 catches and 52 touchdowns.
