A former college football star was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly crashing his Lamborghini into a light pole and then fleeing the scene.
According to a report by Clarence Hill of the Star-Telegram, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams was arrested on public intoxication charges at around 5 a.m. ET.
Williams allegedly crashed his vehicle around 3 a.m., fled the scene, and then was arrested two hours later.
From the report:
Frisco police arrested Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrance Williams early Saturday morning for public intoxication, a class c misdemeanor, after he crashed his Lamborghini into a light pole and left the scene of the accident.
The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly aware of the situation.
Williams was the second-leading receiver on the Cowboys during the 2017 season with 538 yards, behind Dez Bryant, who was let go by the organization earlier this year.
The former Baylor standout wide receiver is recovering from a fractured foot. Dallas added former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns this offseason and drafted college star Michael Gallup to make up for getting rid of Dez Bryant.
