The Pittsburgh Steelers ended the season with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but it was all downhill after that. After being eliminated from playoff contention by the Baltimore Ravens, reports leaked that the Steelers benched star wide receiver Antonio Brown for an outburst in the final week of practice.

In the weeks following the close of the regular season, Brown added fuel to the fire on many occasions - especially when he removed the Steelers from his bios on social media.

Now, there's a report of one NFL team having "real interest" in a trade for the star wide receiver. According to a report from Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the San Francisco 49ers could make a play for Brown.

There’s a belief in league circles that the 49ers have real interest in Brown. With Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. apparently not available this year (he was kind of possibly maybe available in March 2018), the 49ers will be inclined to explore whether they can get Brown.

Brown's contract is team-friendly at just $39 million over three years. The Steelers are reportedly open to trading Brown, but want a first-round pick or multiple high-round picks in the deal.

Stay tuned.
