The Jacksonville Jaguars gave undrafted free agent E.J. Perry a very large signing bonus.

A couple of months after signing him, the AFC South franchise cut ties.

Perry, who reportedly signed for more than $200,000, was released by the Jaguars on Sunday.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter provided some details into why the move happened.

That's unfortunate, especially for Perry, who showed major promise coming out of college.

Perhaps Perry can latch on elsewhere.
