Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been having a lot of fun in his new job with FOX Sports. His recent comparisons between Julian Edelman and a squirrel definitely got a laugh out of everyone.

But today he decided to make his boldest take yet: Who to compare head coach Bill Belichick to.

Prompted by analyst Peter Schrager, Gronkowski took a moment before confidently comparing Belichick to The Grinch.

"(Who would I compare Belichick to) on a daily basis? The Grinch. Always trying to take away the fun sometimes because it's all business. And then here I come in all jolly..."

The response earned a huge laugh from Schrager and fellow analysts Colin Cowherd and Michael Vick.

Few players in Bill Belichick's tenure have gotten away with as much off-the-field silliness as Gronkowski. But for a Hall of Fame-caliber tight end, Belichick apparently made some allowances.

Gronkowski played a huge role in the Patriots making five Super Bowl appearances during his tenure. He won three rings before retiring after just nine seasons in the NFL.

Everyone thinks that Gronkowski will un-retire at some point to make another Super Bowl run with his former team.

And despite his "Grinch" comparison, Belichick would surely bring him back in a heartbeat.
