Ryan Fitzpatrick Getting Crushed For Saying Jets Stopped Believing In Him

Ryan Fitzpatrick was "candid" after today's 24-16 win against the Baltimore Ravens.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was benched by the Jets heading into this weekend's game against the Ravens, but an injury to starter Geno Smith put the former starter into the game.

The quarterback ended up throwing for 120 yards and a touchdown while helping lead New York to its second win of the season.

Following the game, Fitzpatrick addressed his benching, saying that his head coach, general manager and owner stopped believing in him.

That's probably true. After all, Fitzpatrick has thrown 11 interceptions on the year, and coming into this weekend's game against Baltimore, the Jets had lost four straight games. During that four-game stretch, Fitzpatrick threw for two touchdowns and 10 interceptions, and had two games with a quarterback rating below 60. So, they were probably right to stop believing in you, Ryan, at least a little bit. Here's video of Fitzpatrick's comments.

The Jets (2-5) are set to take on the Browns next Sunday. Fitzpatrick says he thinks he should start.
