The New Orleans Saints made one of the biggest moves of the NFL offseason by signing quarterback Derek Carr.

The four-time Pro Bowl selection projects to be the team's best quarterback since Drew Brees retired, and some of Carr's new teammates have high expectations for him in his first season.

Defensive end Cam Jordan said he thinks Carr can be the quarterback to lead the Saints to the place they haven't been in over a decade.

“I expect the Super Bowl," Jordan said during an appearance on Sirius XM Radio, via ProFootballTalk. “I expect to take Derek Carr, DC4, back to Vegas where he just left and have a return run at the Super Bowl.”

The Super Bowl is at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this year, Carr's old home with the Raiders. It's certainly a lofty goal, but the Saints will have a lot of work to do in order to get there.

If Carr can play as well as he has in previous seasons, there's a good chance that New Orleans can qualify for the playoffs as winners of the NFC South

The other three teams in the division have young, inexperienced or declining quarterbacks, opening the door for Carr to assert himself as the best in the division.
