Today's NFL slate features a pretty intriguing match-up in the late afternoon. The headliner may be the 4:25 p.m. ET Saints vs. Eagles game.

The New Orleans Saints, who look like one of the two or three best teams in the sport right now, face defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Unfortunately for the fans in Philly, it certainly looks like a hangover season so far.

The team is just 4-5 on the year, and coming off of a home loss to the middling Dallas Cowboys.

ESPN released its FPI projection for today's Saints vs. Eagles game.

As expected, the Saints are big favorites at home.

Over in the betting markets, the Saints are 7.5-point favorites over the Eagles.

The defending champions are dangerous and deserve some respect. Still, this year, New Orleans has looked like a much better team.

The Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas trio is a candidate for the best in the NFL. New Orleans is 8-1, and undefeated since a now-bizarre Week 1 loss to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
