Saints vs. Falcons preview:
The Saints will not make the playoffs yet again, and it seems that Drew Brees' best years are being wasted in New Orleans. The Saints haven't fielded a solid defense in years, instead resting all of its hopes and dreams on the right arm of Brees. There is only so much one man can do, though, so once again, the Saints face a losing season, and a .500 season at best.
The Falcons are good. In their past three games, Matt Ryan and company have put up a plethora of points. 42, 41, 33 to be exact. Atlanta has the third-best scoring differential in the NFL and are set to score the most points in a season since the 2013 Broncos fielded their ridiculous offense. If the Falcons win, they can wrap up the No. 2 spot in the NFC and a first-round bye.
Saints vs. Falcons prediction:
The over/under for this game is at 57. That could easily be eclipsed when these two teams meet on Sunday. Combined the Saints and Falcons average 62.6 point per game. Drew Brees and Matty Ice will combine for over 600 yards passing and there will be points aplenty.
Matt Ryan and company will take control late in the game and lock up the No. 2 seed in the NFC.
