Seahawks vs. 49ers preview:

Talk about an up and down season for Seattle. Sure, the Seahawks sit at a comfortable 9-5-1, but in their last five games they are 2-3 with two of those losses coming to non-playoff bound teams. When Seattle is good, the Seahawks can compete for a Super Bowl. When they aren't good? They are really bad.

The 49ers won their first game of the season. Who was their opponent in that first game? The Los Angeles Rams. But, what did San Francisco do after winning its season opener? Lose 13 straight games. That’s right. After starting the season with a 28-0 blowout win against the Rams, San Francisco dropped 13 straight games, and have struggled mightily on both sides of the ball. They finally got their second win of the season, which also cam against the Rams. Since Colin Kaepernick took over the starting role, the 49ers have improved, but they’re still terrible.

Seahawks vs. 49ers prediction:

San Francisco has no chance. If the Seahawks play like they are capable, Seattle will walk out of this one with either the No. 2 or No. 3 seed in the NFC.

With Carlos Hyde on IR, Colin Kaepernick will have to do more than he's capable of against a solid defense.
