Sean McVay has been one of the best head coaches in the NFL this season, but the Los Angeles Rams' young leader is facing some criticism for his latest big decision.

The Rams were trailing the Saints, 20-17, with about five minutes to go in the fourth quarter, facing a 4th and goal from the 1-yard line.

McVay has been gutsy in these situations before, putting the ball in the hands of his electric offense. However, that's not what he did this time.

The Rams' head coach opted to play things conservatively and kicked the game-tying field goal.

It's now 20-20 and the Saints will be getting the ball with a chance to take the lead (and maybe win the game).

Did McVay make the right decision?

Some of the NFL's experts weighed in...

"McVay might not be as gutsy as we previously thought," Shannon Sharpe tweeted.

"McVay not going for it there is like a coffee freak suddenly ordering decaf," NFL Network's Rich Eisen tweeted.

"Sean McVay, wunderkind god of football coaching, kicking a field goal here from the 1-inch line is the best proof yet of the theory that all humans are stupid," Alex Kirshner tweeted.

Regardless of it being the right decision or not, it will give us a thrilling ending.

The Rams and the Saints are tied, 20-20, with less than five minutes to play. The game is on FOX.
