Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is a couple of months removed from his team’s loss to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
McVay, 33, took the loss pretty hard, of course.
The Rams head coach had a brutally honest comment about his post-Super Bowl days during an interview with Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take.
McVay was asked if he did anything following the disappointing loss to the Patriots.
“Yeah, a lot of drinking,” McVay said.
McVay added that he couldn’t escape the Super Bowl loss even during a vacation to Las Vegas.
“When I went to Vegas a couple weeks after the Super Bowl just to have some fun, first guy I run into says, ‘Hey man, you lost me half a million on the over.’ I said, ‘Oh man, I’m sorry.’ I’m probably a wanted man. But you just gotta move on,” McVay said.
The Rams will have a chance to avenge their loss in 2019.
Los Angeles will enter the upcoming season as one of the favorites in the NFC and a top Super Bowl pick among analysts.
