Major shake-ups could be coming to the Seattle Seahawks' vaunted "Legion of Boom" secondary. On the heels of yesterday's drama surrounding Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas could also be moved.

Thomas, a six-time Pro Bowler for Seattle, is one of the linchpins of the defense. He is coming off of yet another Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro season.

The Seahawks aren't married to the idea of moving him. However, NFL Media's Mike Silver reports that the team is open to it, for the right price.

Thomas finished with 88 total tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble in 2017. He scored a touchdown on a 78-yard interception return against the Houston Texans in Week 8, the third defensive score of his career.

Earl Thomas is not the only Seahawk star involved in, or connected to, a move out of Seattle.

Thomas is one of the two biggest names in the Seahawks secondary. The other, cornerback Richard Sherman, appears to be on the way out.

On Wednesday, two other Seahawk standouts—Jeremy Lane and Kam Chancellor—tweeted indicating that Sherman will be elsewhere in 2018. Other reports state that he will meet with the team to discuss his future.

The defensive line also saw a big shake-up on Wednesday. Michael Bennett was dealt to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

The Seahawks tossed in a seventh-round pick for wide receiver Marcus Johnson and a fifth rounder in return. Bennett was the team leader in sacks last season.

The team's defense has been one of the best in the NFL for years, and was the focal point in the Super Bowl win in 2014. It appears that Pete Carroll and company are ready to start rebuilding that side of the ball.

Seattle finished 9-7 in 2017. The Seahawks missed the playoffs for the first time since 2011, Carroll's second year with the franchise.
