Six NFL Head Coaches Attended Jayden Daniels' Pro Day
A number of coaches from teams picking at the top of the draft have reportedly made their way down to Baton Rouge for LSU's Pro Day to check out Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels.
Per the NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe: "All 32 NFL teams will be represented here at LSU Pro Day today including 6 head coaches credentialed: Patriots HC Jerod Mayo, Giants HC Brian Daboll, Raiders HC Antonio Pierce, Bears HC Matt Eberflus, Saints HC Dennis Allen, Commanders HC Dan Quinn."
Daniels is currently slotted in many mock drafts to be selected third overall by New England. In the right offense, it's easy to see why so many talent evaluators would be interested in making Daniels their QB.
At both LSU and Arizona State, Daniels proved himself himself to be an experienced starter that can hurt you both with his legs and from the pocket. However, his slighter build is enough to give teams some pause before handing him the keys to their respective franchises.
According to reports, Daniels only threw during his workout after also passing on the 40-yard dash and other drills at the Combine.
Regardless, the Tigers product figures to be one of the top picks in next month's draft along with LSU teammate Malik Nabers.
