Did Colin Kaepernick finally sign with an NFL team?

Spike Lee is an avid Colin Kaepernick fan. When Kaepernick was first released by the San Francisco 49ers, Spike Lee lead a "Kaepernick to the Jets" campaign on social media. Two and a half months after that post hit the airwaves, Lee is making headlines yet again.

This time, Spike Lee is breaking news, or so he thinks.

Spike posted a picture with Kaepernick, thanking Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll for signing Kaep.

Much has been made of the fact that no NFL team has signed Kaepernick up to this point. His critics suggest poor play is the reason, while those who champion his stance on politics suggest he is being "blackballed" by the league. One thing is certain, Kaepernick did meet with the Seattle Seahawks, although we're not sure if a deal is in place. Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times refuted that the Seahawks have offered a deal to Kaep.

During the 2016 season, Kaepernick threw 16 touchdowns to just 4 interceptions, passed for over 2,000 yards, and ran for an additional 468 yards while playing in just 12 games.
